Introduction ceremony for Mr. Y was held. Now, he is ToastMaster Y!! The TMOD, TM S. opened today’s session, explained TMOD’s roles.
And each role owners explained their roles.

■Today’s word : “Unlock”

 TM M gave us the today’s word.
Today’s word “Unlock” suggests like below.
Let’s set free or release you mind or ability, and expand your world.

■Prepared Speeches

[1st speaker : TM M] Speech Title : Learning a second language His speech structure was well organized. So, audience was able to understand the speech very well.
And he has motivated the members to improve English ability.

[2nd speaker : TM N] Speech Title : Time keeping/management Through the accuracy of railway operations in Japan and European countries, he showed that the difference of
standard for judgement will greatly depend on each national characteristics.

■Table Topics Session

 Topic master TM M.  gave a few topics and designated speaker gave a speech correspond to each topics.

[Topic 1 : What did you do during this holiday season?]

 TM Y. introduced his busy days during holiday season.

[Topic 2: Where was the most impressive place you visited during holiday season in your life?]

TM M. introduced Tohgoh-ji. It is the temple located in Fuchu-shi. And it is the setting for novel Rashohmon.

[Topic 3 : If you were super rich, what kind of holiday season will you have?]

Guest H. shared her plan regarding food.

■Evaluation Session

 The club does not have any teacher or instructor. But the club has very effective learning system to evaluate and improve.
General evaluator, TM Y. gave overall evaluation and ran the session.

TM K. evaluated prepared speech by TM M. TM S. evaluated prepared speech by TM N. Each evaluator gave good points, and point could be improved or suggestion.

 Then each role owner reported the results according to their role.

■Award Session

 The best speaker award went to TM N. for the prepared speech.
The best table topic speaker award went to TM Y.
And the best evaluator award went to TM S.
Congratulations to all winners!  I am waiting for your next speech.

Next regular meeting is in Japanese, and will be held May 26th.
