■THe 324Regular English meeting(1/Jun/2025
The 324th Regular Meeting of Fuchu Toastmasters Club was held in Fuchu Platz on June 1. That day was the very exciting day of Fichu city, because championship race of horse race aged 3, so called Japan Derby was held in Fuchu Horse Race Studium.
Off course, our regular meeting was also very exciting even the number of participants is 6 including a guest.
There are 10 roles at least for regular meeting educational session, There are TMOD (MC of the meeting), Todays’ word presenter, Timer, Vote Counter, Grammarian, Ah-counter, Prepared Speech Speaker, Evaluator, Table Topic Master and General Evaluator.
T was challenging for 5 TM members to implement 10 roles. Some of us took 2 roles or 3 roles.
■Today’s word : “One Heart “

It was great opportunity to make “ONE HEART” (Todays’ Word) by collaboration of participants.
■Prepared Speeches
prepared speech is made based on the speech manual written by toast masters international. Speakers have to make a speech in line with purposes in the manual such as “logical speech” and “effective way of speech”. The manual gives us specific advices. Achieving the purposes step by step allows you to improve your speaking skill.

Regarding prepared speech, Ms. M talked about her cats. It was so impressed and heartwarming story.
■Table Topics Session
In the table topic session. Ms. Y provided questions about AI. 5 speakers delivered improvisation speeches.Today’sTable topics master :TM- Y called Table Topics master for Table Topics give a title of speeches and assigns a speaker. The speakers have to organize his/her idea and make a two- minute-speech on the spot. Quick response ability can be improved through the Table Topics speech. Today’s Table Topics master was Ysan who provided us Al but thrilling topics.

■Evaluation Session
In the evaluation session, evaluators previously assigned describe good points and area for an improvement and encourage speakers to make more effective speeches. Evaluators have to listen to the speech carefully and are qualified the ability to analyze good points and area for an improvement quickly. Even if you are not evaluator, evaluator-like- listening is a good training to be a good speaker.
